Abstract/Summary
The objective of the proposed cooperative research is the quantification of total human exposure from air pollutants (including ultrafines) and chlorine disinfection by-products of drinking water in several European urban areas. The environmental and policy-relevant products of the present proposal is the development of scientific methods in conjunction with a robust multiphase modelling environmental management system for facilitating more appropriate public health strategies for mitigation of the effects of air pollutants and drinking water to European citizens.
